Nikki Palmer-Quade - President (Email)
Nikki is a certified executive coach and talent development consultant with over 25 years of business experience. She coaches C-suite executives, VP's, Directors, Managers, and dynamic individual contributors to achieve their professional goals. As a former executive, business co-owner and higher education faculty member, she brings first hand leadership experience and a passion for designing sustainable organizational talent development frameworks. Her areas of expertise include leadership development program design, one-on-one leadership coaching, workshop facilitation, strategic workforce plan development, and competency development and implementation.
Nikki holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee and a Master’s degree in Human Resources from Marquette University. As Learning & Organizational Development Leader for Douglas Dynamics, Colin is developing an organizational development function from the ground up. He leads the leadership development initiative and assists in deploying the talent cycle, employee experience assessment, and learning analytics.
Colin is passionate about helping people master new skills and has built his career around helping organizations solve their talent development challenges. He has led talent initiatives that have saved millions of dollars and resulted in over 90% rates of behavioral change. He has over 10 years of experience in organizational development and talent development. He holds a Ph.D. and M.A. from Marquette University and earned his B.A. (Honors) from Gonzaga University.
Kristin Derwinski - President Elect (Email)
Kristin is a Talent and Culture Leader with a passion to drive Change and Business Transformation. She is a strong listener who can quickly identify simple business solutions to drive results. With over 25 years of experience in talent development, performance management and business process and system design, she has developed strong business partnerships and credibility across the globe.
Kristin has served in various internal domestic and international HR Leadership roles throughout her career. She has extensive experience working in varying capacities across an HR function. She has spent her career working with leaders to build high performing and development cultures.
Kristin is a member of the International Coach Federation. She graduated from Marquette University with a master’s in business administration (MBA) and from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse with a major in Business Administration and Spanish. She has certifications in various talent management and development workshops and tools.
Genevieve M. Daniels - VP Finance (Email)
Genevieve’s motivation in work and life is to cultivate the gifts of individuals to build strong and inclusive communities. This desire for growth and improvement shows up in her visionary thinking, her systems approach to solving problems, and her drive for results.
She has held leadership roles in health care, global manufacturing, packaging, quality improvement and nonprofits, giving her a wide range of experiences in rapidly changing environments focused on increased efficiency and leading-edge practices. Genevieve currently leads change and organizational effectiveness projects at American Family Insurance.
Outside of her work, Genevieve’s energy is focused on her family and the community. She, along with her husband and three children, enjoy activities that create a more just and generous world. She is dedicated to her community, volunteering in a number of local school and church activities, including mentoring foster youth and facilitating community discussions. Whenever she can, Genevieve pursues her love of learning and knowledge, attending forums, music and art shows and pulling from her stack of “to read” books.
Nathan Sheets - VP Membership (Email)
Nathan’s passion for helping others achieve greatness has fueled his 25 years of experience in the fields of talent development, organizational design, experiential education, and leadership coaching. He is the founding principal of Bearing Leadership Consulting, a talent development and leadership coaching business. He also serves as the leadership development program manager for Children’s Wisconsin. In both roles, Nathan empowers his clients to lead with interdependence to make a positive change in the world.
Nathan’s ability to create transformative experiences for his clients is rooted in a decade of leading wilderness-based, adventure leadership, and therapeutic programs. He supports his clients identify their goals, build self-awareness, and reach "peaks" that were not thought possible. His experiential learning approach is directly transferable to the boardrooms, conference rooms, and virtual environments that we work in today.
Nathan holds a MEd from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. He is a Strengths Strategy certified coach, certified organizational culture facilitator.
Camille Parham - VP Professional Development (Email)
Camille is a Six Sigma Yellow Belt with over 15 years of experience in facilitation, change management, and technology implementation. She was promoted to Project Manager with Associated Bank, after leading talent development initiatives for over three years. Camille actively contributed to our chapter as a co-leader of the Organizational Development Professional Development Network (OD PDN). She is excited to plan learning and professional development events for SEWI-ATD in 2022.
Susan Davies - VP Sponsorship (Email)
Dr. Susan Donohue Davies is the Assistant Director of the Master of Human Resources and Labor Relations program, a professional masters program at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She has over 20 years of experience coaching and mentoring over 300 human resource professionals helping them achieve their career and development goals. She has extensive experience bringing disparate groups together to develop effective learning programs. Susan joined the SEWI-ATD Sponsorship Committee in February 2020, became Vice President of Sponsorship in 2021, and is working to build and sustain the chapter’s relationships with current and future sponsors.
Patrick Aleshire - VP Marketing and Communications (Email)
Patrick is an energetic trainer with 9+ years’ experience in an education setting. Previous experience as an elementary teacher lead him to pivot his career into the talent development space. Starting his training career as a training specialist in manufacturing, he has additional experience in the entertainment industry as a training and development specialist at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino in Milwaukee. Most recently, Patrick began a role at Milwaukee County, as a development & training specialist while acting as a liaison between county departments and focusing his efforts on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
Patrick first got involved with SEWI-ATD after attending the summer social in 2019. He quickly decided he wanted be more involved with the organization, which lead him to join the Sponsorship Committee in 2020. Always looking for ways to enhance not only his career but also at-home life, within the last two years, Patrick has learned to play guitar and re-discovered his love of reading.
Lora Haines - VP Community Relations (Email)
Lora Haines is a high-energy, world-class facilitator, keynote speaker, and instructional design expert. She has over fourteen years of experience in learning and development at world-class organizations like Walt Disney and Microsoft. Lora is currently a Director of Learning and Development at JB Training Solutions, a learning and development company that offers dynamic in-person and virtual soft-skill training across all stages of the employee life-cycle. She has designed and developed several of JB Training’s most popular workshops.
Lora is also a certified coach who is passionate about helping professionals reach their highest career aspirations. Lora knows a thing or two about how to keep the modern workforce engaged: she focused her Master’s thesis on effectively retaining high-performing early career professionals. Lora co-led the Organizational Developmen PDN in 2021 and is thrilled to join the board in 2022!
Dan Jakubowski - VP Special Projects (Email)
Dan is an internationally recognized Talent Development professional with over 14 years of experience in training and adult education. He has a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and started his career as an English language teacher to adults in job training programs. Dan has extensive training and development experience in Russia and in Eastern Europe. He has facilitated learning to individuals representing more than 13 countries throughout the world and counting.
Dan is currently the Talent Development Coordinator for Guardian Credit Union, a Milwaukee- based not for profit financial cooperative. He designs and delivers training and develop programs that focus on helping all levels of the organization reach their full potential and deliver for the members.
Tami Martin - VP Digital Experience (Email)
Tami Martin is an HR Leader with a proven record of adding value through developing and implementing programs and tools that enhance employee success and support organizational change. She is an experienced people, program, and project manager with a background spanning the financial, insurance, retail, real estate, education, healthcare, and non-profit sectors.
Tami has a bachelor’s in Business Administration in Human Resource Management and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. She has her SHRM-SCP and is certified by Prosci in Change Management. She worked at the BMO Institute for Learning as a Talent Development Consultant and in Workforce Development as VP and Project Manager of Strategic Initiatives for Technology & Operations and Corporate Areas for a combined 10 years. She also worked at Northwestern Mutual in their corporate D/I area and at Tri City National Bank in the role of VP of Professional Development. Tami is currently the manager or Team Member Development at Advocate Aurora Healthcare.
