    Recap:

Thank you to everyone who attended: Vince, Tiffany, Kati, Meica, Cherie, Suzanne C., Scott, Camille, Heidi, Suzanne G., Kari, Marilyn, Nikki, Ryan, Susan, Derrick, Laura and Tresha! I really enjoyed sharing some new tools and ideas. For those of you that could not make it or if you wanted a quick summary. Check out the post below!

We discussed the Zeetings, Canva, and more! Here are some main points from the PDN:

    Zeetings

    • All plans include unlimited content, interactivity and participant control.
    • Zeetings is free for educators, students and non-profits. https://www.zeetings.com/edupricing/
    • We used the activity board for introductions and dialogue throughout and after the presentation.
    • We showcased how to complete a poll question, view PowerPoint slides, create slides and embed content.
    • The notes section are private. I used this to put the links of everything I wanted to showcase during the demo.
    • We talked about one use case for this tool was to augment a live in-person presentation to allow every voice in the room to be heard with the poll and chat (activity) features.

    Canva

    • Canva has an updated 2.0 version available.
    • You can create your own brand with color palettes, fonts, and logos for easy access.
    • A variety of templates are available and you can browse for templates based on what you are creating from presentations to social media posts.
    • Non-profits can apply for a free upgraded version.
