Improving performance starts with identifying performance gaps. Too many talent leaders struggle to deliver training that moves the needle. Training can fall short when it attempts to solve the wrong problem or when it targets the wrong cause for the problem. That’s why defining the gap is a critical first step to effective performance improvement.
Join SEWI-ATD’s Performance Improvement PDN as we discuss tools to uncover performance gaps. We’ll explore language to help stakeholders clarify expected and actual outputs, diagnostic methods to identify barriers to performance, and problem solving tools to determine the cause for those gaps.
