Professional Development NetworksWhat are PDNs? Professional Development Networks (PDNs) are groups of professionals who gather together regularly, based on communities of practice, career roles, specializations, skills, and/or other related themes. The goals are to provide high quality opportunities to collectively discuss best practices in talent development while sharing ideas, growing supportive business relationships, and making new friends. Each PDN Facilitator determines the format, location, time, and programming focus for his/her PDN. These groups typically meet on a bi-monthly basis. For specific PDN details, check our individual Current PDNs or Upcoming PDN Events links in the column to the right. Why participate in a PDN? Since PDNs are specialized, they typically draw smaller, more intimate crowds than most of our other chapter events. This allows for extended opportunities to meet and engage with peers who have similar interests and who share your passions. Our PDNs are open to both members and non-members of SEWI-ATD. They provide risk-free environments for brainstorming, sharing strategies, collaborating, and learning from each other. Don’t miss the opportunity to grow your valued network and make lasting friends at the same time. Additionally, we encourage our members to join our social media sites on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter as additional ways to stay connected. Our local chapter is always looking for volunteers. If you are interested in leading or co-leading a PDN, or if you have an idea for initiating a new PDN, please contact us at admin@sewi-atd.org. | Upcoming PDN Events
