Networking

For more than 80 years, SEWI-ATD has had a vision of building a highly skilled, competitive Southeastern Wisconsin workforce that drives organizational and regional success. Our thriving community includes more than 400 members across 136 different companies. They have a reputation of being very friendly and willing to share information and resources. They serve in a variety of roles including Learning & Development, Organizational Engagement, Human Resources, Leadership Development, and Change Management. Industries include insurance, health care, manufacturing, technology, finance, and retail. 

Professional Growth

SEWI-ATD empowers local learning and development professionals with practical, high-impact opportunities to grow. Through relevant programming, peer connections, and hands-on learning experiences, we help our members expand their knowledge, sharpen their skills, and unlock their full professional potential. 

Each year, we deliver:

• An average of 30 high-quality virtual and in-person programs with an average of 45 participants
• Two dedicated networking events designed to foster meaningful connections
• Our signature event, the Annual Talent Development Forum, draws more than 100 participants.

Broader Regional Engagement

As an SEWI-ATD member, you have member-only access to all Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce (MMAC) benefits. In addition to professional events, you can take advantage of Fuel Milwaukee, The Business Council, The Talent Partnership, and the Milwaukee 7 Partnership.
