About the Speaker:
Dorlisa Marshall is an HR professional who is passionate about professional development and helping others achieve their goals. In her role as Director People Services, Dorlisa builds strong, trusting relationships with business partners and ensures the appropriate focus is placed on the employee experience, process improvement, compliance, and strategy.
Dorlisa has over 20 years of experience in Financial Services. She joined Discover in December 2017, first on the Learning Strategy team before she transitioned to HR Consulting in late 2019. She moved into People Services in 2024. Prior to joining Discover, Dorlisa served 15 years with HSBC working in increasingly complex training development and HR assignments.
Her track record of success is complemented by a Master’s Degree in Instructional Design (MSID) and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Human Resources from Saint Leo University, as well as multiple HR certifications.
